Mr. Meadows practices primarily in the Knoxville office.
A native of Knoxville, he attended the University
of Tennessee where he received a B.S. degree in
finance, with honors, in 1988. After working with SunTrust
Bank in Nashville, he attended the University
of Tennessee College of Law where he graduated,
magnu cum laude, in 1993, was selected to be a member
of Phi
Kappa Phi, Phi
Delta Phi and the Order of the Coif and served as
an executive editor of the Tennessee
Law Review.
In addition to his experience in financing transactions,
acquisitions, dispositions, leases, developments, and
varied commercial transactions, Mr. Meadows has served
as general counsel and executive vice president of finance
for a regional holding company with interests in real
estate, transportation, media and other industries and
has been the primary developer and partner in a number
of retail real estate developments. He also serves as
counsel to a professional sports management company
and as a real estate advisor to a few of the nation’s
largest retail companies throughout the Southeast and
Midwest.
Mr. Meadows is a lecturer for continuing legal education
seminars, a past chairman of the Real Estate Section
of the Tennessee
Bar Association and a board member, officer, committee
member or volunteer for various non-profit organizations
in Knoxville, including Emerald
Youth Foundation/Just Lead and the Fish
Hospitality Pantries.
Mr. Meadows has been admitted to practice law in all
Tennessee courts, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern
District of Tennessee, and the U.S. Court of Appeals
for the Sixth Circuit.
