Mr. Bird is Of Counsel in the Sevier County Office in addition to maintaining his own office in Blount County, Tennessee where he has practiced for the last sixty years.

Prior to his private practice in Maryville, Tennessee, he was an attorney with the Office of Price Administration in Washington, D.C., both before and after his service in the United States Army Air Corps from 1942-1946.

During his sixty years of practice in Maryville, Tennessee, he has served as counsel for The Industrial Development Board of Blount County, Tennessee for thirty years. Mr. Bird also organized and served as counsel for More Blount Jobs, Inc., a private for profit industrial development corporation.

Mr. Bird is a member of the American and Tennessee Bar Associations, a member of The Order of the Coif and of Pi Kappa Phi honorary societies. His practice has included extensive and complex real estate development, which has involved the development of both large and small shopping complexes in Sevier County, Tennessee.
