| Brian
D. Blind, a native of Knoxville, Tennessee, graduated magna
cum laude from the University
of Tennessee in 1995. While there, Mr. Blind
was a member of the Board of Student Conduct and the University's
Mock Trial team and was a member and Treasurer of the
University's chapter of the Phi
Alpha Delta Pre-Law Program.
Mr. Blind later attended the University of Tennessee College of Law where he was the recipient of the Harold C. Warner Memorial Scholarship. While in law school, Mr. Blind was a staff writer for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law and was a member of the Business and Tax Law Association. Additionally, Mr. Blind was recognized in the Who's Who: American Law Students and received Academic Excellence Awards in Legal Process II, Criminal Procedure, Estate Planning Seminar, and Representing Enterprises. Mr. Blind earned his Doctorate of Jurisprudence degree cum laude, with a Business Transactions Concentration in May 1999.
Mr. Blind has been admitted and is currently
licensed to practice law in all Tennessee courts, the
U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee
and the U.S. Tax Court. He is a member of the Knoxville,
Sevier County, Tennessee
and American
Bar Associations. Additionally, Mr. Blind currently
serves on the Board of Directors of Second
Harvest Food Bank of East Tennessee.
