Meg P. Brown

Meg Brown, a Knoxville native, graduated summa cum laude from the College Scholars program at the University of Tennessee in 2000, where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. After graduating from U.T., Ms. Brown attended Vanderbilt Law School, where she served as a managing editor of the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment Law and Practice (now the Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law) and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society. Additionally, Ms. Brown received Vanderbilt Scholastic Excellence Awards in Wills and Trusts, Corporations, and International Business Transactions. Ms. Brown received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Vanderbilt in 2003, graduating Order of the Coif.
In 2004, Ms. Brown received an advanced LL.M. degree in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. Upon graduating from NYU, Ms. Brown practiced in the New York City office of a global law firm before joining Gentry, Tipton & McLemore, P.C. in 2009.
Ms. Brown has been admitted and is currently licensed to practice law in all Tennessee and New York courts and is a member of the Knoxville and Tennessee Bar Associations.
